The BBC has a worldwide reputation for its high-quality and well-made programs, and now there is a new offering to add to the list. Yellowstone: Battle for Life follows the animals who live in Yellowstone over the course of three seasons. The impact of Winter, Summer and Autumn on the lives of the animals are shown in 3 separate episodes, each lasting 50 minutes. As well as documenting the struggle for survival among species such as bison and elk, the abundance and natural beauty of the landscape are also on display.

Here are two video clips that give a taste of the program:

Elk with some serious horn issues:

The majestic bison:

Thanks to Bridget Murphy Groller from Warner Bros., I have 3 copies of Yellowstone: Battle for Life to give away! To enter, please leave a comment stating whether you have been to Yellowstone. If not, let me know your favorite place to observe nature! The winners will be chosen on Monday, Oct. 26 by random.org. I'll notify the winners by email, who will have 3 days to get back to me before a new winner is drawn. Please be sure your email address is in the comment or on your profile so I can contact you. I'd hate for you to lose out on winning one of these wonderful DVDs!

Good luck!

We visited with our girls when they were teenagers and loved every minute...what great animals and scenery. We camped and it rained the whole time...you should hear our girls recount the story...way worse than it was.

We loved Yellowstone...our daughters have such great memories and stories from our trip 20 years ago.

Hi Lisa,

Do you happen to have contact information for Bridget? She emailed me last Thursday and now Gmail has lost her email even though I put it in a folder. (Needless to say, I'm now dumping Gmail.)I googled her name and can't find contact information.

Thanks for your help!

While I have never been to Yellowstone, my husband and I enter all the contests we can for that area of the country, so we can go there when we win. We love to watch nature in the Smokies of Tenn and N Carolina and try to go often. In the interim, we check out Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel to see programs on nature. We always are amazed and learn something new from each program. Everything in nature is just fascinating to us. We would love to win this and sit by the fire on a cooler night here in the country, snuggle, and watch these amazing animals in Yellowstone. Our email is rbbrand3@msn.com...thank you for offering these...rachel

We took our 2 teenage sons there 2 summers ago. My husband had always wanted to go there so we went for a week and stayed in West Yellowstone. We all enjoyed it. The wildlife and natural beauty are amazing. We even saw our first moose. We did a lot of walking and saw a lot of the natural springs and geysers (some are even better than Old Faithful!) My son was hoping to see a wolf, but we had to settle for seeing some at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center near the west entrance. I would highly recommend Yellowstone.

Yes. We were trapped when a buffalo parked himself on the wooden pathway and wouldn't get off. We couldn't get off because the water was steaming below us.

I have never been to Yellowstone, although I've always wanted to - it's where my parents met when they were both working for the National Park Service.

I grew up in the country, in the middle of nowhere, in Wisconsin so that's always been my favorite place to observe nature. My parent's are against hunting and because of that every year we get over 100 turkeys that wander through our woods and down onto our lawn where we feed them. We also get lots and lots of deer. It was always so much fun growing up to be able to watch all of that from your windowsill.

Thanks for the great contest!

I have never been lucky enough to travel to Yellowstone but sure would like to. Given that I am out of work for the last year, our family observes nature right in our own yard which we are lucky enough to see racoons, deer, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, skunks(not so great), and ducks on a daily basis.
